Profile
Bahl Λ
Bahl is a wandering knight training to master the sword.
She journeys from one land to another, paying no attention to the sights, as she's too preoccupied with finding new worthy opponents to cross swords with.
In a fight, she yells with every swing of her sword, and as if that was not enough to intimidate an opponent, there is also her reputation of being a deadly swordmaster.
If her strike lands, she never forgets to shout "CRITICAL HIT!!!" Yes, she has her quirks.
Back in her homeland, she was known as the famous Croix Noir, or "The Black Cross".
The name is a reference to her beloved greatsword, a weapon as awe-inspiring as her skills at wielding it, and as such it fits pretty well.
Having lost her sparring partner, she no longer had anyone to help her refine her fighting technique, and so she requested to leave her homeland under the pretense of going on a pilgrimage.
That is the truth behind her journey. It's basically battle training.
This fact is kept quiet, however, so that she might not get special treatment in the lands she visits, which would be unwelcome from a political point of view.
She doesn't care about being tidy, and walks around with everything she owns crammed into a huge satchel, even her beloved sword. When she turns up, everyone braces themselves, and traveling merchants often report her as suspicious.
Locals' mistrust does not trouble her at all though, as she hardly ever needs to rent a room at an inn, and you'd never catch her in a tavern.
That's because she can sleep anywhere, and can live off candy.
However, her main source of nutrition is flower nectar. When she was born, she was abandoned in a flower garden.
There, she instinctively drank the nectar of the flowers and survived for nearly half a year. Ever since, that nectar became the source of her power.
Naturally, there have been innumerous incidents wherein she failed to follow common sense. She's not a normal person.
Perhaps she actually died at one point and was resurrected by the flowers' life force?
No, such miracles happen only in fairy tales, do they not?Gallery
