Profile[]

The Igneous

Many stonewomen abhor combat and choose the life of a nun, but not Koko. She sees it as the difference between simply accepting one's fate and seizing it by the horns. Koko prefers the latter. But for her, it is not simply about combat per se; rather, it is a matter of self-respect.

The Molten

Koko's weapon is made of magma, and humans would find it extremely heavy. She can wield it with the greatest of ease, however. Stonefolk clearly possess many times the physical strength of humankind.

The Magma

Her braided hair symbolizes her new life, for she is confronting head-on the teachings that demand she abandon all femininity as a warrior. She is also utilizing the nuns' ability to control magma extensively in battle. Her dynamic approach to life is quietly rekindling the fire in the hearts of the stonefolk.

With Palpa

After Chapter 29

"Koko, there is something I must say to you."

I was the eve of Palpa's departure, and she had come to speak with Koko personally.

"The vitality of the stonefolk has dwindled almost entirely, and my departure will hasten the loss."

"My Queen!" exclaimed Koko. "Are you saying it is time to call them to arms?"

"No, such was not my intent. I wish for you to show them your resolve and way of life."

The princess was saying that a people lacking vitality could not rise to battle so easily.

Her people had lost their very footing.

They had lost their pride and self-worth. But she believed they would surely rise up if they could recover them.

"Koko, this is something only you can do."

Palpa went on to ask forgiveness for failure to fulfill her duty to her people.

Koko vowed that she would fulfill her queen's wishes, come what may.
